1. General Information
Giglobe operates as a placement intermediary, connecting international job seekers directly with Australian employers primarily within hospitality and luxury retail sectors. Giglobe itself is not an employer and does not guarantee employment.
2. Terms for Job Seekers2.1 Eligibility & Account
You must be 18 or older.You must provide accurate, truthful information.You must maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.Accounts found providing fraudulent or misleading information may be terminated without refund.
2.2 Pricing, Subscription, and PaymentsExclusive Content Access (€14.99/year)
This package provides insights into lifestyle, the Australian job market, work-life balance, and practical considerations. Subscribers receive:
– Exclusive articles and guides on living and working in Australia.
– Regular newsletters on market trends, opportunities, and success stories.
– Early webinar access featuring expatriates and industry experts.
Annual Access Pass (€100/year)
Designed for candidates committed to relocating to Australia, payable upfront or in four installments via Scalapay (subject to Scalapay’s approval). Benefits include:
– Personalized job matching tailored to individual skills, experiences, and interests.
– Connections with vetted employers in Australia's hospitality and luxury retail sectors.
– Exclusive partner discounts on visa processing, Emirates flights, and travel essentials.
– Screening interviews conducted by Giglobe advisors to verify qualifications and facilitate employer approvals.
– Ongoing relocation support from Giglobe specialists for one year.
Mandatory Induction Training (€500)
This mandatory training fee applies after Giglobe secures a confirmed job offer. It is payable upon acceptance of the job offer and can be split into up to 8 installments via Scalapay. The training includes:
– Structured three-day program specific to the candidate’s role.
– Practical experience with essential workplace tools, software, and procedures.
– Training on company standards, practices, and operational expectations.
– Giglobe Australia Starter Pack assisting with bank account opening, certifications, healthcare arrangements, and settlement tips.
The induction training is designed to accelerate candidate integration, enabling immediate productivity upon arrival in Australia.
Important Payment Terms:
All subscriptions and services purchased from Giglobe are strictly non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable, except where explicitly required by applicable law. Failure to participate in or complete Induction Training due to your own circumstances (e.g., missed training dates, inability to travel, visa refusal) does not entitle you to a refund. Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, Scalapay) subject to their terms.
2.3 Job Placement Disclaimer
Giglobe provides job-matching services only. We do not guarantee employment, visa approval, or successful relocation.You are responsible for obtaining a valid Australian visa and covering all travel-related expenses, including flights and accommodation, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2.4 Code of Conduct
Professional behavior is mandatory.
Prohibited actions include false information, harassment, discrimination, fraud, or misuse of our Platform.Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
2.5 Data Privacy
Personal data handling complies with GDPR and Australian Privacy Law. You consent explicitly to data collection and sharing as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
2.6 Account Termination
You may delete your account anytime.Giglobe reserves the right to terminate accounts violating these Terms without refund.
3. Terms for Employers
3.1 Employer Obligations
– You must have legal authority to hire employees in Australia.
– Job listings must be accurate and comply with Australian employment law.
– Employers must honor employment agreements made through Giglobe.
3.2 Fees and Payments
Employers agree to pay relevant fees for services (e.g., listings, placements). Payments are non-refundable unless Giglobe fails to provide the agreed services.
3.3 Non-Discrimination and Ethical Practices
Employers must adhere to non-discrimination laws and ensure safe, lawful working conditions.
3.4 Confidentiality & Data Protection
Employers must handle candidate information confidentially, solely for recruitment purposes, in compliance with GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act.
3.5 Non-Solicitation
Employers may not directly approach candidates introduced via Giglobe for hiring purposes without paying applicable placement fees.Violations may result in legal action or platform removal.
3.6 Dispute Resolution
Employment disputes must be settled directly between employers and job seekers. Giglobe disclaims liability for such disputes.
3.7 Employer Account Termination
Giglobe may suspend or terminate employer accounts for non-payment, unethical practices, or violations of these Terms.
4. General Provisions Applicable to All Users
4.1 Proprietary Information & Confidentiality
All proprietary business, technical, or pricing information provided by Giglobe through its platform is confidential. You agree not to disclose, use, or copy such information without Giglobe’s explicit consent.
4.2 Platform Restrictions
You must not: Allow competitors access to Giglobe’s platform.Copy, replicate, or reverse-engineer any aspect of our platform or matching technology.Attempt unauthorized access or use automated tools to scrape or extract data.
4.3 Intellectual Property
Giglobe retains all rights, title, and interest in all content and technology provided through our platform. Users receive no ownership rights and may not commercially exploit, sublicense, or redistribute Giglobe’s content or technology.
4.4 User Content
By submitting content (profile data, resumes, reviews, feedback) you grant Giglobe a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, use, modify, and display this content to operate our services and promote the platform.
4.5 Warranty Disclaimer
Giglobe provides services “as-is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding accuracy, availability, or success of job placements or visa approvals.
4.6 Liability Limitation
Giglobe’s total liability arising from use of our services shall not exceed €100 or the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower.
